Just start with the 9th Doctor. Everything will be fine after that. If you really want, you could start with the 10th doctor but I really don't reccoment it!!! - Me

Good advice. It’s what I would recommend too. I personally loved nine. He was my first doctor.

I want to start watching Dr. Who, but it seems like, 50-ish years of TV seems a little unrealistic to accomplish. Would it be best to read up on the beginning and watch the more recent stuff, or vise-versa, or just watch everything?

This message is probably really old and I don’t update this blog as much so I’m sorry for this late reply. So if you still need my advise then I would start watching the newer stuff first to see if you like it and then go back and watch the classic series. Series one of the 2005+ series would be a great place to begin, you won’t need too much knowledge of what came before it and it’s where I started watching too.
